About Edith Ewald
Edith has been practising a variety of different styles of yoga for over 25 years. In 2008 she discovered Dru Yoga, joined the Professional Dru Yoga Teacher Training run by Padma McIntyre, a 200 hours Yoga Alliance course in London, and has been teaching this safe and therapeutic style of yoga since 2009. Edith also qualified in Restorative Yoga at a teacher training run by Anna Ashby at Tri-yoga London and in Yin Yoga with Norman Blair. Both Yoga styles are part of her teaching.
Edith teaches at London gyms, yoga studios and workplaces. At weekends she has a regular class at Champneys Spa Hotel, Tring where she also offers Yoga breaks.
She is a caring, compassionate teacher making yoga a relaxing and balancing experience for everyone.
Apart from her passion for yoga, Edith has always had a great interest in complementary medicine and has explored various schools and teachings for more than 30 years. She has attended courses and done trainings in Reiki, Bach Flower Remedies and Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2012 she trained as a Diet & Lifestyle Consultant in Ayurveda with Dr Deepa Apte at Ayurveda Pura Academy in London. In October 2020 she completed her training in Nutrition Therapy and Naturopathy at The School of Health in Stroud. Edith draws on all of these trainings during her consultations.
